CSU STEM Pathways & Research Alliance (Previously known as LSAMP)

The goal of this program is to increase the engagement of freshmen and sophomore students in STEM and prepare them to join research labs at CSUEB.

To be eligible, students must:
- Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Be currently enrolled as a freshman or sophomore undergraduate at 不良研究所.
- Be enrolled at a participating CSU campus in an undergraduate major in a STEM discipline or have expressed an interest in pursuing a STEM baccalaureate degree.
- Be an individual interested in pursuing graduate studies or join the workforce in a STEM field that is outside the health profession degrees or careers.
- Be an individual who has faced or faces social, educational, or economic barriers to STEM careers.
Participants will be required to:
- be available for in-person on-campus events on select Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15–1:15 p.m., including to:
- attend 4 research talks and/or professional development workshops,
- participate in 3-4 additional outside-of-the-classroom mentoring and group activities
- help facilitate an in-person, on-campus event on Friday, April 17, for 4–6 hours between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Participants who meet these requirements will receive up to $500 scholarship through Financial Aid (to be paid in Spring 26 OR Fall 26).

- NOTE: You are NOT required to be working with a FACULTY mentor to be eligible for this program.
- Be prepared to answer the following:
- Describe a STEM field or career you are interested in after graduation. In your response, explain how attending graduate school might help you prepare for or advance in that area (300 word maximum).
